"Receive me, Lord, as you have promised, and I shall live; do not disappoint me in my hope." ( RB 58.21) We, the members of the Benedictine monastic order, respond to this invocation when God consecrates our lives to His service. Likewise, in the following pages, the Saint Girolamo community wishes to welcome you in and introduce you to "a house built on rock." We hope you will "come and see" for yourself , as Jesus said to His first disciples.
